Katherine Aubrecht has been recognized by the American Association for the Advancement of Science as a 2024 AAAS Fellow for her contributions in "the areas of academia, research and science communications".
She is specifically being honored for "advancing chemistry education by incorporating
green chemistry, sustainability, and systems thinking to foster more connected and
relevant teaching and learning". Her achievement has been cited in the CAS weekly
