Academic Affairs
The Academic Affairs team acts as a bridge across the institution, serving as a liaison to the Provost’s Office Academic Affairs team, the Registrar’s Office, the Division of Undergraduate Education, Enrollment Management, and the Office of Educational Effectiveness. The central focus of our mission is student success. The team implements initiatives to improve student recruitment, course availability, retention rates, and timely graduation. The team works closely with departments to plan the academic year schedule through thoughtful resource allocation and strategic course scheduling. The team also assists with both undergraduate and graduate curriculum initiatives and comprehensive departmental data analysis.
Responsibilities include:

- Oversight of curriculum, degree, and course modifications
- Student success initiatives spanning recruitment, retention and graduation-
- Enrollment management, course availability, and instructional needs
- Maintenance and support of the college master schedule in PeopleSoft for summer, fall, winter and spring terms
- Coordination of large classroom assignments and midterm/final exam schedules.
- Part-time faculty appointments
- CAS infrastructure including offices, classrooms and research labs; liaison with campus units including CPDC and COM
