Alumni

Stony Brook University Joined the National GEM Consortium in 2009 and welcomed our first GEM fellow in the Fall of 2010. Since then, Stony Brook is proud to have supported the successful degree attainment of many GEM Fellows, including:  

Celest Okoli
2010 fellowship recipient, supported by Brookhaven National Laboratory. Celest received his MS in Mechanical Engineering from Stony Brook in 2011. He received his PhD in  Materials Science Engineering from Stony Brook University.

Patrick Bynum
2012 fellowship recipient, supported by Brookhaven National Laboratory. Patrick received his MS in Technological Systems Management in 2014. 

Daphne Meza
2012 fellowship recipient, supported by Brookhaven National Laboratory. Daphne was a PhD level GEM fellow and completed her doctorate in Biomedical Engineering at Stony Brook. 

Ammar Morgan
2014 fellowship recipient, supported by Brookhaven National Laboratory. Ammar completed his MS in Mechanical Engineering at Stony Brook in the Spring of 2015.
