Costas Diamantis has been Director of Apprenticeship and Health & Safety Training at the Finishing Trades Institute of NY for over 16 years. It is a non-profit 501(c)(3) Training Fund serving members in the Trades of Commercial Painters/Decorators/Paperhangers, Glaziers, Drywall Finishers, Structural Steel & Bridge Painters, and Metal Polishers/Refinishers. Prior to finding a home here, he has worked in many industries, changing paths several times. From Industrial construction and Bridge Painting to Registered Stockbroker, Finance, Cisco Network Engineer, Director of IT, and finally as a trainer and health & safety instructor. As such, he is a firm believer in education, training, and second chances, working hard and finding your way. Graduated with an MBA in Business Administration in 2021 as a Dean’s Medal recipient from SUNY Empire State. Received BA in Political Science in 1995 from Fordham University.
